What Can You Expect From the Market?

Now is a great time to be a seller. Inventory is down. So far this month in the greater Harrisburg Metropolitan area, 682 homes have been listed. At the same time last year, the number was 772 homes. Fewer people are getting into the market right now, which is good news for sellers. This is one of the reasons why prices are starting to creep up (which is also a good thing).

As far as buyers go, interest rates are still below 5%, which is a historic low. Remember the 1980’s when interest rates were 18%? Those were bad times, these are great times.
